This summer, the Rotary Club of Powell River Sunrise bought and installed several pieces of adult exercise equipment next to the campground at Willingdon Beach. Why should you pump iron in the open air? Here are 3 reasons:
1. It’s free
No fees, no shipping costs. Just ramble over and hop on. It’s that easy.
2. It’s trendy
Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, and many other cities have recently invested in outdoor equipment. Bonus: Powell River’s equipment doesn’t spend four months covered in snow.
3. You’re pretty fly
Don’t be shy. Show that shimmering, rippling bod to the Willingdon Beach Trail walkers and campers nearby! (Hey, the Mayor’s doing it!)
