It was a rare experience skating on Cranberry Lake this past week.

It’s been way too long since we have seen Cranberry Lake freeze. I know it has been 20 years since I have skated there.

Too bad it is over now… but it was awesome while it lasted!

Here’s the video I shot of our Cranberry Lake Skate of 2017.

We shot this Saturday, January 14th before hockey practice and my son’s teammate Evan showed up as well!

Matt McDowell makes fun videos on his GoPro, mostly featuring his friends and family. Recently, he has started taking drone footage around Powell River in series called Looking down on PowTown (here’s one featuring the Hulks).
