What could be better than a festival that celebrates our favourite berry?

Things you can expect at the Blackberry Festival on Marine Avenue:

• Blackberry Pie
• Whipped cream-covered Blackberry Shortcake
• Blackberry Cupcakes
• Blackberry Pizza
• Blackberry Jam
• Blackberry up-side down Cake
• Possibly Blackberry Beer?
• and specialty dishes at local restaurants featuring blackberries (salmon, salads, margaritas, you name it)

On top of all that, there be local art on display, barbecues grilling, live music, and fireworks after dark!
