Powell River Jingle Jog

Sunday, December 11th marks the running of the 7th annual Jingle Jog Fun Run and Walk in Powell River.

This event, put on by the Brooks Secondary Fitness and Senior PE classes, raises funds for our local Food Bank.

What started as a school running club December training run has evolved into an annual community event that attracts runners and community members alike.

Event participants routinely don their Santa hats, Christmas costumes, and bring their bells for a low key fun run. It is a fantastic opportunity for our Brooks students to give back to the city that supports our youth in so many ways and it is a chance to help some of our most vulnerable members of our community.

We have raised over $13,500 for the Food Bank in our previous 6 years.
