What is Powtown Post?

The Powtown Post is a lifestyle website dedicated to bringing you the best, most sharable  photos and stories from Powell River, B.C.

Who are we?

We are a family operated business.

The co-founders of Powtown Post are siblings Jordan, Wesley, and Janis Behan, who were born and raised in Powell River.

Jordan is our Publisher, Wesley is our Editor, and Janis is our Content Manager. Our “staff” is made up of volunteer writers–a ragtag bunch of passionate, local and former Powell Riverites.

What is our purpose?

We love “Powtown.” And we want more people to know about it. We could see that there was no other website out there that aptly represented our town, and we wanted do something about it.

This website is intended to shine a positive light on the town of Powell River and its people. We want to share great stories that will make Powell River proud–everything from small business spotlights, to stories on our hometown heroes, and features on your favourite Powtown hidden gems.
