The End of the Road – one of the PR Film Festival’s highlights this year
The Friends of Film Society of Powell River produces the Powell River Film Festival, an annual event each February dedicated to showcasing the finest and most current releases from Powell River, Canada, and the World. Principle activities include programming films for schools and the general public, and presenting a camp and contest for youth aged 15-19.
One of this year’s highlights is the local feature production, The End of the Road, by Tai Uhlmann and Theo Angell, documenting the migration of hippies from the US to Lund in the early 70s.
