For the 4th Annual Powell River Pride Celebrations, there will be an all ages/family friendly event at Willingdon Beach during the afternoon.
There will be DJ entertainment, games, giveaways, food and vendors, free massages, face painting and giveaways. Everyone in the community is invited to help celebrate gay pride.
Evening: Edie Rae’s & The Carlson Club
5:00pm-8:30pm
Edie Rae’s is hosting a Martini & Appies party from 5:00-8:30pm.
The entertainers are staying at The Old Courthouse Inn and their deck is primed and ready for proud revelers and proud supporters of LGBT peeps! Make a reservation: 604.483-EDIE.
9:00pm – 1:00am
Then it’s off to the the Carlson Club to dance the night away!
There will be an evening Drag Show (ages 18+) at the Carlson Community Club. Doors open at 9:00pm and it will go until 1:00am.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door.
You can purchase tickets from Iguana’s Mexican Grill, Capone’s Cellar, or River City Coffee.
The theme is “Canada Freedom” and “Show Your Colours, Powell River” in an effort to encourage participants to dress up in FUN, FUNKY, OUTRAGEOUS clothes in support of Powell River Pride 2015!
