Want some ideas on what you can do to celebrate Earth Month? You can host an event! Here are some ideas to fuel your inspiration:
- Go on a canoe or kayak trip
- Have a trash cleanup day
- Have a craft day using recycled materials
- Hold an eco-fashion show
- Go for a walk or a bike through the trails
- Eat food by only local vendors or with local ingredients
- Hold a yoga class on the beach

Helping the Earth Month team this year is Climate Action Powell River. With a long-term vision of “A world in which peace, love, education, respect and personal responsibility lead to a harmonious, balanced relationship with the Earth,” CAPR is encouraging people to reduce their carbon emissions.
