Come down and join the Global Climate March!
Powell River residents will join millions around the world to march in favour of keeping carbon in the ground. The march will meet at Willingdon Beach and make its way to the Townsite Cenotaph. There will then be a screening of Avi Lewis’ film, “This Changes Everything”, at the Patricia Theatre, with a discussion afterwards.

A recent transplant to Powell River, Maxine is looking forward to getting to know her and her husband's new community and the friendly people within it. She works for the province's Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation's internal communications team—now in a virtual capacity!
