There are tons of events celebrating PRIDE Week in Powell River!
Friday, August 5: All Ages Pride Dance
- Where: Cranberry Hall
- When: 7pm-11pm
All ages dance. No alcohol. By donation. Refreshments: coffee, tea, pop & chips
Show up for some substance-free fun! Bring all your friends, just your sweetie (of any gender), or come by yourself. Dress up or dress down, or dress wild and crazy. Teens, parents and kids, seniors, all ages welcome.
Saturday, August 6: Pride Festival in the Park
- Where: Willingdon Beach
- When: 12pm-7pm
FREE! Head down for some fun in the park! This year’s Powell River Pride Week celebrations will contain fun, family-friendly activities. There will be live music, DJs food, vendors, the CJMP photo booth, a dunk tank, and more! Opening ceremonies begin at noon.
Sunday, August 7: Pride Drag King and Queen Show feat. Mina Mercury
- Where: That Sugar Vault
- When: 7pm til late
Ages 19+. $20 per person – tickets can be purchased at That Sugar Vault and the Old Courthouse Inn. There is a limit of 100 tickets.
