Regals Boxing Day 4-on-4 Hockey Tournament

The Powell River Regals will be hosting their 2nd Annual Boxing Day 4-on-4 hockey tournament on Saturday, December 26th at the Recreation Complex. The tournament will run from approximately 10am to 11pm.
They’ve expanded this year from 6 teams to 8 teams, and this year will include an A and B division, which means it is open for players of all skill levels.
This is the perfect opportunity to reunite with your old minor hockey teammates!
A Beer Garden will be open in the Arena warm room with beer, wine, coffee, and Carolans available for purchase, and the Concession will be open for food throughout the day. There will also be a TV in the warm room showing the Team Canada World Junior game, and there will be a 50/50 draw.
Last year’s tournament was an incredible success, both on and off the ice. Instead of doing the traditional Boxing Day Dance at Dwight Hall, which always ended up with an inch of draft beer on the floor… doesn’t this event sound like a refreshing change? So come on out–enter a team, or just come out to cheer on your family and friends while they duke it out for the title of Boxing Day 4-on-4 champions.
