Pacific Salmon Foundation - Fundraiser

Being from Powell River, many of us grow up being salmon lovers.

That’s why we want to help support our friends over at Vancouver Is Awesome, in their fundraising campaign for the Pacific Salmon Foundation–a non-profit devoted to wild Pacific salmon conservation.

T-shirt displaying all five Pacific salmon species.

Bill Watterson (a designer) and Bob Kronbauer from Vancouver Is Awesome worked with the Pacific Salmon Foundation to release a series of a poster, some prints and a t-shirt with some wonderful spawning salmon designs on them. They’re offering them for sale with the hopes of raising $10,000 to help fund the Salmon in the Classroom program, which puts salmon aquariums in BC schools and introduces students to this iconic species at an early age. You can read more about the program here.

When you purchase a product from this campaign, all proceeds will support grants to classroom education about the lifestyle and conservation of Pacific salmon. Your support will inspire young people to conserve our watersheds and wild Pacific salmon for generations to come.
